I found this website yesterday and I can’t get enough of it. It really satisfies that design urge that I have (and my love of all things symmetrical).
It is called colourlovers.com and you get to choose and name colours, create colour palettes and then use those colour palettes and apply them to patterns.
It is really quite basic but you can create such beautiful patterns there. People then vote and comment on your palettes and designs if they like them.
What is also nice is that you can download the colour palettes in many different formats (photoshop, html…) and then upload them to the program you want to use

Salmon Palette
My favourite colour palette is the first one I created called Salmon. And my favourite patterns are ones I designed called Penny Royal Tea and Igloo.
