They are all running for President (well sort of).
Over the last few weeks I have been following the advert campaign war between Obama and McCain. The adverts are pretty funny when watched from a non-American perspective.
The controversy started when McCain’s campaign advert likened Obama to the vacuous celebrities Paris Hilton and Britney Spears: “He’s the biggest celebrity in the world”. This was a response to200,000 Germans turning out at an Obama rally in Germany.
The fact that Obama is a celebrity just goes to show his popularity. It just seems like McCain is a bitter old man and is jealous of Obama’s success.

The funny bit happened TODAY - Paris Hilton responds to McCain using her in one of his campaign adverts with her own video. It is a classic gem of a video produced by funnyordie.com (I love this site) and has received over 2 million views since it was uploaded 16 hours ago (4.8 million views in 2 days now that is seriously viral!).
What I find fascinating though is that the McCain team obviousely learnt nothing from the Clinton Obama struggle. Obama has embraced the online community in a way that has not been done by a presidential candidate before. This video just goes to show that online reputation management is HUGE!

See you at the debates bitches!
What I love about this video is that Paris totally makes fun of herself. Oh and she wants to paint the White House pink.
